Sunday Best and All the Rest

   Greetings! Instead of having an Awkward and Awesome post today, I'm posting the Liebster Award.    Good Monday to you readers! I trust that you are back to your hectic schedules. I have quite a list of things to accomplish today, myself. Let's take a break out of our busy day and talk about clothes for a just bit, because there's a cute new top I want to show you. :)

   So, I know that I said the 70's was the last decade of the 20th century fashion I would be posting on, but due to popular demand (okay, two people...) I have delved into the world of 80's style! Many thanks go to my Mom for styling my outfits for this post - she went to high school in this era, and therefore qualifies as an expert on the fashion. ;) Put on your baggy sweater and big white shades, and join me for another fun look at a decade of style! 

   Happy midweek to you, lovely ladies! Today's ensemble was worn on a day when Mom and I both decided to look French - it was totally unplanned! We spent the afternoon out in a coastal town not far from our own. I brought my camera and we did a quick photo shoot at the beginning of a nature trail. As it turned out, some of my favorite outfit photos of all time were the product! :)

   Hi all! I hope that you had a beautiful Resurrection celebration yesterday, whether it was busy or relaxed, at home or abroad. I had a full and enjoyable day spent at church and lunching with dear friends. The holiday is always meaningful when spent in fellowship with like-minded people. :) 

  Top o' the weekend to you, ladies! I hope that you have a refreshing Saturday ahead of you. My plans for the day include a birthday party and going to the movies. Tomorrow will be a lovely day celebrating the Resurrection of our great Lord! :) Before all this takes place, though, I have an outfit and some words of encouragement to share with you!

       Hello and good day to you all! I hope you are enjoying this lovely Wednesday. It's hard to believe another week has gone by already! 

   Greetings everyone! :) Today I would like to share with you the reason I only posted once last week - the latter part of my week was spent on a trip out of town! We attended a conference held by a Bible college which features speakers on Creation science and end times, with an emphasis on the inerrant nature of God's word. Not only were we able to enjoy the conference, but also spent time seeing sights outdoors in the warm weather.

   Well, it's safe to say that this is the most blogging I've done in a single week thus far! :) The Button-Down challenge has been a fun event. Not only have I found splendid ways to wear my new shirt, but have also been able to enjoy interaction with other bloggers. May the fun continue today! :)

   It's Friday! Yay...one more day 'til the weekend (unless you count it as starting tonight ;). Not only is today Friday, but it's the second day of the Button-Down challenge. It will be fun to see what everyone comes up with!  

   Greetings! In case you hadn't inferred the fact from post title (I doubt not your intelligence), today is the first day of the Button-Down challenge! For this event, I have chosen a new favorite shirt of mine. The purple and brown striped button-down by J. Crew was bought from a consignment store for $7. Not only does it have a lovely, classic cut, but it is also comfortable. :)  

  Hi all! How has your first week of April been? I hope you didn't get pranked too many times yesterday. ;) Well, it's the middle of the week, and that can mean only one thing.... awkward and awesome! Awkward: * Mom and I both completely forgetting an appointment I had this morning. * Developing the inability to open cans (how does that skill even disappear?) . * Getting tomato {puree} all over my hands after opening said can. * A city councilman coming to the door campaigning, and being barked at by my diminutive dog, who then proceeds to slide off the front porch (the dog, not the councilman). * Reading the clues incorrectly on a crossword puzzle, resulting in confusion.
