   Hi all! It's been a couple of weeks, hasn't it? I hope that you have been enjoying a lovely October. I don't know about you, but I seem to know of quite a few birthdays in this part of the month! Last night I dressed up in some eighties duds to help a friend celebrate her 30th birthday...retro-style!

    Hello readers! It's a cozy-inside, wet-outside winter evening here on the Pacific coast, and this blogger is tired. I started a new part-time job yesterday, which I am enjoying so far. I'm also anticipating being in a wedding this weekend (yay!), which will account for some more busyness. Life continues on with its expected and unexpected events. It's all good stuff, but it takes up time and energy. At times like these, it's nice to have some material saved back for blogging...

   Happy midweek to you, lovely ladies! Today's ensemble was worn on a day when Mom and I both decided to look French - it was totally unplanned! We spent the afternoon out in a coastal town not far from our own. I brought my camera and we did a quick photo shoot at the beginning of a nature trail. As it turned out, some of my favorite outfit photos of all time were the product! :)
