Sunday Best and All the Rest

   Happy July, my sweet friends! I hope that you are having a lovely summer thus far. The days of outdoor adventures and backyard barbecues have wrapped my season in a social whirl. Today, I would like to share with you a coastal summer outfit (meaning it's meant for not-actually-hot weather  ;) ) and along with a few thoughts on Psalm 43.

   Hello ladies! Happy New Year, Merry Christmas, and Happy Valentine's Day while I'm at it. ;) I'm afraid that sporadic blog posts are my new normal, but that will just make our time together that much sweeter. This post is quite long compared to most, so I will let you get to it. Please also enjoy a few beach photos I took last weekend. :) *I have definitely not "arrived" (nor have any of us still living on earth;)) This post is for me too. God taught me new things as I was preparing the post. Anything good or encouraging that I have to say to you is from Him.*

   Greetings, readers! I have a double feature blog post today, with a fun new outfit and some thoughts on a current, yet age-old issue. To save on time, I will explain about the outfit here. It features four darling new items - the skirt is gifted from a co-worker, tights from Mom for my birthday, and boot cuffs and booties purchased using a Target birthday gift-card from my co-workers. P.S, these shoes are a new favorite pair. :)

   Well friends, the time has come for the final post of Being in The Word. I hope this series has been inspiring and encouraging to you. Writing about being in God's Word has definitely pushed me into study. As they say, you really learn something when you teach it! In this wrap-up post, I would like to share with you the ways I have learned to study the Bible. May these become tools to help us further learn and apply scripture!

   Hello friends! Are you ready for another installment of Being in the Word? Let's dig in!

   Folks, it's time for our first post highlighting a specific reason to read and study the God's Word. By now, you have very likely heard of the most recent instance of violence in our world. It's another sobering reminder of how much we need the Lord for the answers to life's hard questions. May we humbly come before Him to learn.

   If you are a believer in Christ, you have most likely read the Bible. Perhaps you have read it in whole many times across the years. Maybe you  have a hard time reading even a Psalm a day. Your copy might be falling apart from frequent use. You might be a new believer, holding your first Bible, and unsure of where to begin. No matter who we are, we daily need the Word in our lives!

    Have you ever had a moment of despair when you've just had it with being a Christian? Fighting sin seems too hard, and you're tired of trying to be perfect. Maybe you've thought "I'm not cut out to be a Christian!" Well, I have!

  At work today, I was inspired to write to you about being a good employee, and being a light as a Christian employee. This is especially for young people who are just starting out in the workforce, or heading that way. Now, I know that I still have much to learn! Nevertheless, I hope that what I've discovered in these past few months may be useful and encouraging.

   Hello all! Today it feels like summer. I was at work all afternoon, and though not out in the sunshine, I most definitely felt the heat! This weekend we may be back to April showers. Meanwhile, enjoy my semi-summery (and too warm ;)) boho look of the day and a new devotional!

    Let me tell you the good news. This news is something that everyone needs to hear, and no one on earth will go unaffected by it. It is the best story ever, and every word is true.

   Greetings bloglings! :) This week is just flying by, and I'm barely making this a "first part of the week post". Yesterday's anticipated blog shoot met with a couple of roadblocks, but it all turned out for the best, as I have future blog plans squared away in my mind. I'll tell you more on that later...;)

  How do you do, readers? Today I have a new neutral outfit to share with you, as well as a devotion! Because I do a lot of talking later, I won't chatter  much in this first part of the post. ;)

   Well, another weekend is upon us. The next weekend will be December. Um...how did that happen? Let's reminisce about this month's holiday before getting ahead of ourselves. ;)

   Hello all! It's October! Can you believe it? When we were doing this photo shoot today it was cold and windy enough to really seem like fall. If I had been out there much longer, I would have wanted a jacket. ;)

   Happy last weekend of Summer! And here I am sharing an autumnal outfit. The fact of the matter is, last Wednesday was a cold and rainy day here on the coast. It actually felt like Fall! However, on Thursday it was back to sunshine. It still hasn't been as warm as before, so the next season could very well be on its way.
