Sunday Best and All the Rest

    At the beginning of this month I asked my readers to comment with their thoughts about attending college and also promised to share my own. You readers provided me with intriguing feedback - now it's time for me to carry through on my end! I would like to tell you why I have so far chosen not to go to college. My reasons include lack of interest, lack of need, and personal life goals and convictions. In explaining these to you, my intention is not to bash those who do  go to college or to suggest that no one should go. Instead, I hope to show you that my choice to not attend an institute of higher learning was a good choice for me, as well as for others who made the same decision.

   Hello and how do you do this last Tuesday of January? Typical winter trials are certainly upon us here in the Western Hemisphere. I hope that you are avoiding all the sickness that my own area is currently weathering. Speaking of weather, I pray that any American east-coasters reading this stay safe and warm though the storm! On to happier things such as...what else? Fashion! ;)

   Hello all! Today I had the chance to enjoy pretending to be a maid of honor and styling an outfit for the bridesmaids. Why? Weddington Way  invited me to be a part of their challenge to put together a winter bridesmaid ensemble using one of their dresses.   Over the past few years, my style has changed and hopefully, matured. From the time I got seriously interested in putting together cute outfits for myself until now, my style has been here there and everywhere. That's probably completely normal for a teenager though... ;)    Now that I'm twenty, I'm trying to dress more like a young woman than a girl. Being Paige, that means I find my own  looks instead of faithfully following trends. Some days my look is classy, some days it's boho, and on other days it's retro; what I wear depends on my mood and what is currently inspiring me. Thanks to using Pinterest for the past few months I've been exposed to a lot of rustic/eclectic/vintage fashion lately. That kind of style was a large part of today's outfit inspiration.

   Happy Saturday, dear readers! Are you enjoying a restful day, catching up on chores, spending the day at work, or just waiting to see what will come? My day is filled with helping to clean our church, blogging, working on a Sunday School lesson, and going to a gathering to fellowship with a friend from out of the area.  Needless to say, it's shaping up to be a busy weekend. :)
