Sunday Best and All the Rest

   Hi all! Well, last week's "surprise" is here...sort of. ;) The big purchase I mentioned last week was A NEW CAMERA LENS. As it turns out, I found out some interesting news the day after posting. A friend from our home school group recently made the switch from Nikon to Olympus and had several old lenses. He's letting me try them out, then buy what I like. :) Today's outfit photos are courtesy the 70-200 mm lens. It does great blurry backgrounds, which is just the ticket for fashion bloggers!

   It's Saturday again and you know what that means....time for a Sunday Best post! :) Today I have a special treat for you in that I have an outfit guest post!    Good ev'nin' ladies! I'm glad to be with you for another Saturday. :) Today I will be sharing an outfit post featuring an item that I've been wanting to acquire for some time. That's right - it's a jersey maxi skirt! They've been "in" for a while now and are probably on their way "out"... Oh well, perhaps it's better than way. ;)

      Hello all! Today's post is going to be a little different for two reasons. First, the lovely Bethany of Liberty or Death tagged me for another Liebster award (thanks Bethany!). Second, my outfit is a slight fashion stretch for me. It features a unique color combo of yellow and aqua, and uses a silky skirt used for casual wear. Spring is the time to try new things right? :) Oh, and I also pinned up my bangs, which I rarely do...it was probably time to mix things up. ;)

   Hello folks! We've completed the first week of April...crazy huh? Though it's a sunny evening as I type this, we've been having April showers over here for the past few days. The good thing about the stormy weather is that it is a relief in the drought. The bad thing is that allergies become worse...blech. ;)
