Outfit || Classic in Black & Pink

  Happy Monday, readers! Of course, you are most likely seeing this on Tuesday, thanks to my late night posting and the fact that many of you are in a different time zone. Is your week off to a good start? I'm currently getting over a respiratory bug, but I had a pleasantly low-stress Monday at work. :)

   Today's outfit is decidedly classic, but has a feminine flair. It features one of the items I found while out of town last month, an elegant black pencil skirt. I knew that I wanted to wear it for the first time today, and after another failed pairing attempt, finally ended up putting it together with a short-sleeved pink blouse. Now I had a business-like, but rather stiff look. To add a modern pop of fun, I added a pretty floral scarf in corresponding colors - after all, it is the scarf time of year! Black ballet flats completed the look.
