Sunday Best and All the Rest

  Hello all! How are you this fine October Sunday? Here, the season has certainly changed over the past couple of days. A crisp, cool wind has been blowing, bringing with it the prime time for tea, hot chocolate and lattes. In fact, my parents and I went out for coffee this afternoon. Below, you'll see me with a vanilla - not pumpkin spice - latte in my hands. ;)

Indeed, Monday can feel a little...Mondayish...but truly, the week goes by quickly and on Friday we are almost sad to leave behind the industrious, scheduled days of work, school and whatnot (or at least, I am ;)). Happily, I am feeling motivated in my blogging this Monday evening, and I hope that you are motivated to read! ;)

    Hello all! I hope you're weekend has been refreshing. Mine has been both relaxing and productive. Today Mom and I set off for the mall on a mission to gain some new duds. We were successful, and I found a few nice items that I can wear to work and church. I look forward to showing you what I bought in posts to come, but for now I will share the outfit I wore to church and shopping.

   Hello all! It's the last day of the Bramblewood Thrifted link-up! This day had a special challenge, which was to be vintage inspired. I ended up going for a 1950's look (though it would probably also work for 40's) that has a feminine, yet business-like look.

   Good day, readers! I am excited to announce that today I am starting a new series! Last week, a reader commented asking for resources that would explain the different styles I talk about. Though I was able to point her to a great series other bloggers did, I remembered my dream of writing my own series teaching  ladies how to dress in specific styles. The time is finally right, and I am happy to introduce you to "Style School"!

   This week's "Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday" post has become a Thursday post, thanks to some technical difficulties with our internet provider! Though this could not be helped, I happily had some time this stormy afternoon to share my outfit! And so, now I blog, sipping tea, soaking up the warmth of a space heater, and gazing out the foggy living room window as I write.

   Happy Thanksgiving eve to my U.S. friends, and happy (almost, for me) Friday to my international friends! California's sweater season has finally come, and I have a sweaterificant outfit to share with you today. It also proves that I really do wear colors other than blue. ;)

   Hello there readers! Is your week off to a good start? Mine has begun with my cleaning job yesterday and a little cleaning of my own house today. What better way to start off the week than with freshly vacuumed carpets, eh? ;) Please tell me I'm not the only one who cannot spell "vacuum" without spellcheck....

  Good Tuesday my friends! This is the first Tuesday in which I've been able to stay home all day in a long time. As a matter of fact, it's the first of any  day I've been home all day in......well, I can't remember! ;)

   Hi all! Well, last week's "surprise" is here...sort of. ;) The big purchase I mentioned last week was A NEW CAMERA LENS. As it turns out, I found out some interesting news the day after posting. A friend from our home school group recently made the switch from Nikon to Olympus and had several old lenses. He's letting me try them out, then buy what I like. :) Today's outfit photos are courtesy the 70-200 mm lens. It does great blurry backgrounds, which is just the ticket for fashion bloggers!

   Good ev'nin' ladies! I'm glad to be with you for another Saturday. :) Today I will be sharing an outfit post featuring an item that I've been wanting to acquire for some time. That's right - it's a jersey maxi skirt! They've been "in" for a while now and are probably on their way "out"... Oh well, perhaps it's better than way. ;)

   Hello and how do you do this last Tuesday of January? Typical winter trials are certainly upon us here in the Western Hemisphere. I hope that you are avoiding all the sickness that my own area is currently weathering. Speaking of weather, I pray that any American east-coasters reading this stay safe and warm though the storm! On to happier things such as...what else? Fashion! ;)

  Greetings! What has been filling your December so far? Mine has been full of blogging, babysitting, more blogging, more babysitting, a Christmas party (the first of four parties this week), a couple of rainfalls, and plenty of tea. December is the month that makes me feel like there's almost  too much fun. All the same, it is a cozy, celebratory time that is especially meaningful for those of us who are seeking to honor the birth of our Savior.
