Saturday Sunshine
Good evening (or whatever time of day it is when you read this ;) ) folks! How has your week been so far? Mine has been crazy busy, but it's been a good kind of busy. It's been full of working and spending time with friends. :)
Last weekend, my parents and I went on an outing that was part drive, part hike, and part photography expedition. Though it wasn't intended to be a blog photo shoot, it kind of turned into that too. ;) On this sunny afternoon I wore a flowy printed tunic, capri jeans, and colorful Converse. It was a simple but cute outfit to wear outdoors.
Outfit Details: Tunic~ Consignment store; Tank ~ Target; Capris ~ Consignment Store; Converse ~ Journey's
Here are a few photos I took on our outing!
For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;
He guards the paths of justice,
And preserves the way of His saints.
Proverbs 2:6-8
Nice outing photos! I especially like the field :) where did you go, exactly? (You can tell me on FB) I like the outfit too, nice and summery (for whenever summer decides to arrive!)

DeleteI'm excited to see that you are wearing converses. They're one of my favorite brands of shoes (and they are purple which makes them even better!).
ReplyDeleteYay! I like them too. :)

Thanks Blaze Ann! :)
DeleteGreat photos! I have such a hard time finding tunics that are long enough for me and don't look frumpy. Yours is SOOO pretty!! I also really love the picture of the trees on the hills. It must've been a beautiful drive and hike if the scenery was like that.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jill! :D I hope you can find a tunic or two that are flattering and pretty. Yes, I am blessed to live in a beautiful area. :)
DeleteI know I haven't been following you blog that long but I feel like this is the first picture I've seen of you where you weren't wearing a skirt. Random observation. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou look cute and the scenery is beautiful!
Thanks Lois! Haha, yeah, I don't post a lot of outfits with pants. I usually wear pants for work (not-as-cute outfits) and skirts the rest of the time. :)
DeleteLooks like it was a beautiful day for a hike! The orange/yellow flower is lovely. Lately we have been having cloudy/rainy weather here, but it it still is reasonably warm, so it's not too bad.
ReplyDeleteIt was a pretty day indeed! That flower is a California poppy (one of the few flowers I can identify!). Well, that's good. Send some rain out west please. ;)
DeleteLove this, casual yet very cute!

Thanks! :)
DeleteThose are good pictures! What kind of camera do you have?
ReplyDeleteI like the top that you wore. The girls in my family don't wear trousers (the English word for pants) because we don't want to dress like a boy would. Not wearing trousers helps us by not going into the worlds way of thinking that girls should dress like a boy. I know the trousers you wore were girl style, but I think Christian girls should keep their testimony and dress as the Lord says we should. I know this is what your parents taught you, but I thought I'd just put that in.
Glad you had a good day on your outing! :)
Thank you! I have a Nikon D3200. It's what's known as an entry-level dslr, so I think this basically means it's for beginners as opposed to pros. :)
DeleteThank you for sharing your insight. :)
