Noir et Blanc
Hello ladies! It's a sunny and breezy Saturday evening in my corner of the world. For now, the house is still, but it awaits the entrance of friends for one of our birthday party game nights. We hope to soon enjoy laughter and fellowship. But for now, I blog. :)
Today's outfit is the conjoint effort of my mom and I. I was having one of those days in which nothing was really hitting me and my clothes all looked "blah". Mom and I ended up trading black and white striped tees (I didn't like the way mine fit). She suggested that I wear it with my black skirt and black flats. To complete the look all I had to do was add a cameo pendant necklace and pull back some hair.
Outfit Details: Shirt ~ Hand-me-down from Mom; Skirt ~ Consignment or Thrift Store; Shoes~Target; Necklace ~ Made by Mom
Once again, I'm wearing the Parisian look. The stripes and simplicity of the classic French style is appealing to me at this point in my life. I thought a French phrase for the title would be fitting. :)
What styles have you been liking lately?
Do you have any fun plans for this weekend?
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world
may believe that You sent Me.

DeleteOooooooh lovely necklace!

DeleteI really like your necklace! Just curious, do you ever mousse or gel your hair? It looks like it has a lot of natural curl so I thought you might. If you do, which one do you like better? I have curly hair (permed) and like to get other's tips on products and care.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lydia! :) Ooh, have fun with curly hair.
DeleteWell, more often than not I don't use product on my hair. Sometimes I scrunch in Fructis gel when it's wet (currently that's their super stiff gel, though I've used another variety) - this enhances the curl. In the past I've used a Nourishing Coconut product from Organix ...it might have been mousse. I know there was one kind of mousse I liked.
Your title is on point!!! And great outfit, Paige! It's très chic and classy :)

DeleteSuch an elegantly simple outfit, Paige! The flats look great with it. Saturday I was at a chess tournament, and Sunday was pretty normal. I did get some good games of pig basketball in with my youngest sister.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) Yes, I'm so glad to have classy black flats. Well, that sounds like a good weekend!
DeleteLoving this Paige! This easy going shadowy style is super flattering on you!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, being a cameo lover, well, I love your necklace! Haha! :)

ReplyDeleteThank you! :) I'm not sure if she's tried it yet. We'll probably trade, yes.
