Outfit || Neutrals & Rufles

   Hi all! After seeing my opening photo, you might be wondering if the seasons got confused when they came to my town, and if spring and autumn decided to trade places. Well, don't let the knee socks and golden leaves deceive you. Though there was a fair bit of temperature change last week, Friday was actually a decently warm day. For one thing, there really are flowers blooming in my neighborhood, and for another, those boots were stifling! :)

   Despite its autumnal appearance, I quite like how this outfit turned out. The main item showcased  is a zip-up shirt/jacket that my mom handed down to me. It's been hanging in my closet for a while, but doesn't find its way out too often. The comfy jersey material, darling details, and classy feel give it good ratings in my opinion!

   On Friday, I layered the jacket with a brown t-shirt. After trying another skirt that didn't work out too well, I settled on this handy knee-length blue skirt. Brown boots and ivory knee-socks completed the look. Was my outfit too warm? Yes, but it was cute. ;)

  1. Cute outfit! I don't know if I like the boots and knee socks. I think either boots and stockings, or flats and knee socks would look better. I do like how the colors are opposite with the brown and white boots and socks contrasting the brown and white jacket and shirt. You really do have good style.

  3. Hey Paige! :) Just wanted to say that this is a beautiful outfit. I love the boots and knee socks... and the brown and white and blue just go really nicely together. I live in New Zealand and we are ending autumn and heading into Winter now of course since we are in the other hemisphere! Autumnal inspiration is always good. :P
    Blessings!

  4. Cute outfit! Love the boots! :)

    Growing up in a family of nine, hand-me-downs were a necessity of life. :P Although in recent years that's become less of a thing in our household.

  7. This is so beautiful, Paige! I love your cardigan/sweater...the ruffles are so feminine and really flatter you beautifully! Growing up as a younger sister, hand-me-downs were my life. My sister and I are 18 months apart, so we were always swapping clothes and "shopping" in each other's closets. Quite fun, actually. :) Blessings to you!
