Blog post material isn't always easy to come by anyway when one's outfit photographer is not readily available and other plans fall through for the time being.    Hi all! Another week, another outfit - it sure is fun having new clothes! I seem to be going through a season of updating my wardrobe. Happily, my closet loses a few old clothes when new items go in. I'm not sure if the number of things going out is quite the same as those going in, but I try my best. ;)

  Hello there readers! I seem to have taken a brief blogging hiatus without telling you, but you see, I hadn't given myself any advance notice either. ;) Sometimes life gets busy, and bloggers are uninspired (or just lazy). What matters is that I am back this evening, and even have new clothes to tell you about! I hope that in the time since we last "met", you have had many good days and plenty of accomplishments.  :)

    Hi all! I had intended to write a post yesterday but ran out of energy and time. Sunday just might be a better day to post than Saturday...the weekend gets busy so quickly! In any case, I'm here today with an outfit that I think captures my personality well. It's a combination of folksy and bright, crisp pieces that meld rather than contradict each other. ;)

   Hello all! Today it feels like summer. I was at work all afternoon, and though not out in the sunshine, I most definitely felt the heat! This weekend we may be back to April showers. Meanwhile, enjoy my semi-summery (and too warm ;)) boho look of the day and a new devotional!

  By this time you're probably wondering how on earth I keep finding all these blue and striped clothes! There will be more variety soon, but I can't guarantee how long it will last. ;) Hee-hee!

   Autumn has arrived in my corner of the country! This cool (but not cold) afternoon, Mom and I went on a mini-adventure including bakery goodies, a blog shoot, and beautiful scenery. I've included a few of my artistic photographs, as well as outfit shots. :)

   Good ev'nin' ladies! I'm glad to be with you for another Saturday. :) Today I will be sharing an outfit post featuring an item that I've been wanting to acquire for some time. That's right - it's a jersey maxi skirt! They've been "in" for a while now and are probably on their way "out"... Oh well, perhaps it's better than way. ;)

   Hello folks! We've completed the first week of April...crazy huh? Though it's a sunny evening as I type this, we've been having April showers over here for the past few days. The good thing about the stormy weather is that it is a relief in the drought. The bad thing is that allergies become worse...blech. ;)

  Good evening lovely readers! I hope that you have been having a beautiful and productive week thus far. I've been keeping busy at home, "abroad" and in the cyber world. As of late, much of my time has been spent reading camera reviews on the internet, trying to find just the right model for me. Having better quality images will be a splendid improvement for this blog. :)   In September, my parents, best friend and I went out of town for a few days and hit several clothing shops and thrift stores. I scored a few great pieces, including the tiered maxi skirt that I'm wearing today. It was too long for my petite stature, so until this week I had only worn it to a medieval festival (see that outfit  here ). The resident seamstress (aka, Mom) shortened it for me this week, so now I can wear it! Though still long, it no longer drags along the ground as I walk. Yay! Sometimes it's a good idea to consider buying an item that doesn't fit ...
