Sunday Best and All the Rest

  Happy first day of September! It's sunny and warm right now, but the spiders have started to come out (*gulp*). Before we know it, summer will say farewell and autumn will take its place.  I shouldn't get ahead of myself though; You see, September 1st means something besides the end of summer. It means that... TOMORROW IS MY SECOND BLOGOVERSARY! Yay! 

   Last night, the time had come to choose the winner of Sunday Best's Blogoversary Giveaway. All the names were in the hat.  The suspense grew as I mixed up the entries. Who would it be?!? How intense could my face get?!? ( I have to post this pic to remind you that most of what ends up on here is the  cream of the crop out of many silly shots :P) *drum roll please*    We had a winner! Hello Everyone, My name is Evie and I blog at “A Period Drama Fangirl”, I am very excited today because my new friend (the owner of this blog) Paige invited me to do a guest post. Of course I eagerly accepted, so thanks for having me Paige! :) Today’s post will be on the viola as I personally think that the Viola is a very underrated instrument that deserves some love. So I am writing this post to hopefully raise awareness about this lovely instrument. I have been playing the viola for 10 years (since I was 7)  and I think it has the most beautiful tonal quality. The Viola also  has the ability to have the melody (but that is rare) and  often provides the lower register notes to provide the much needed sound that is present in an orchestra.  Woohoo! Sunday Best and All the Rest has existed for an entire year today! How quickly the time has flown. I would like to give a big THANK YOU to all my readers. After all, without you there would be no point in writing this blog. ;) Also, thank you to my mom for being such a willing photographer and to those who encouraged me to start blogging and helped me to get off on the right foot.
