Sunday Best and All the Rest

   Hello everyone! I'm here today with the first outfit shoot of 2019! In fact it's the first outfit shoot in um..a while. ;) The funny thing is, when I titled this post I mistakenly typed "Pink" as "Oink", which is almost as fitting since pigs are often pink. Also, I've had an obsession with miniature piglets lately. So in a manner of speaking I have been "thinking oink" in recent days. Please tell me I'm not the only who gets fixated on small, fuzzy animals...

   Hello there readers! After a time with no inspiration or motivation for blogging (Okay, it was like a week and half ;P) I decided it was time to do something! A free evening and plenty of daylight saving sunshine after work really makes taking photos and writing a post much easier.

   Hello all, I am back from whatever rock I was hiding under! What really happened was a week with plenty of rain, an odd schedule, more than usual hours at work, and no daylight in the evening, all of which spelled trouble for getting in an outfit shoot. Yesterday afternoon I had some free time, sunshine, and an available photographer, which spelled success for an outfit shoot. Not everything was just right, as my photos ended up including shoes more conducive to marshland wandering than the ankle boots I had worn to church. However, this is the real life of a non-career blogger. Please enjoy and look forward to the cute new shoes I will show you at a later date...;)

We were successful, and I found a few nice items that I can wear to work and church.    Hi all! After seeing my opening photo, you might be wondering if the seasons got confused when they came to my town, and if spring and autumn decided to trade places. Well, don't let the knee socks and golden leaves deceive you. Though there was a fair bit of temperature change last week, Friday was actually a decently warm day. For one thing, there really are flowers blooming in my neighborhood, and for another, those boots were stifling! :)

    Hello readers! It's a cozy-inside, wet-outside winter evening here on the Pacific coast, and this blogger is tired. I started a new part-time job yesterday, which I am enjoying so far. I'm also anticipating being in a wedding this weekend (yay!), which will account for some more busyness. Life continues on with its expected and unexpected events. It's all good stuff, but it takes up time and energy. At times like these, it's nice to have some material saved back for blogging...

Yes, I know...I'm a little behind the times in the world of fashion blogging. ;) We all have to do these posts at some point we don't have outfit photos ready...or is it just me *cough*? Either way, enjoy these winter fashions that I've been liking this year!

   This week's "Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday" post has become a Thursday post, thanks to some technical difficulties with our internet provider! Though this could not be helped, I happily had some time this stormy afternoon to share my outfit! And so, now I blog, sipping tea, soaking up the warmth of a space heater, and gazing out the foggy living room window as I write.

   Happy Thanksgiving eve to my U.S. friends, and happy (almost, for me) Friday to my international friends! California's sweater season has finally come, and I have a sweaterificant outfit to share with you today. It also proves that I really do wear colors other than blue. ;)

      Hello all! :) I've had a chaotic past couple of days, but am doing my utmost to get this post up before it's Sunday (my time at least). So, without further ado, here is the prize-winning outfit I wore to a barn dance birthday party today!

  Greetings! What has been filling your December so far? Mine has been full of blogging, babysitting, more blogging, more babysitting, a Christmas party (the first of four parties this week), a couple of rainfalls, and plenty of tea. December is the month that makes me feel like there's almost  too much fun. All the same, it is a cozy, celebratory time that is especially meaningful for those of us who are seeking to honor the birth of our Savior.

Hi, I'm Paige's friend Rebekah. Upon Paige's request, I'd like to share a couple outfits with you. These outfits really make me think of autumn, and even winter. They have a warm look, and work well for any lady, really. <3 Enjoy! I love this outfit because it has a "fallish" look. I chose to do darker jeans, but I've found that a lighter wash works just as well. The leather jacket is warm, but stylish.    In case you haven't noticed (which you probably didn't, since I often have trouble getting more than one post out per week ;) ), my weekly blogging goal is to do one outfit post and one topic post each week.    How can a girl spend a November afternoon in a fun and rewarding way? Go thrift shopping! Today, my mom, grandma and I paid several of our home town's thrift stores a visit. Not only was it a lovely way to spend a girls' day out, but it also produced some cute purchases.   Technically, not all of our shopping was at thrift shops. We also visited consignment stores.
