Why Knot?

  Greetings! What has been filling your December so far? Mine has been full of blogging, babysitting, more blogging, more babysitting, a Christmas party (the first of four parties this week), a couple of rainfalls, and plenty of tea. December is the month that makes me feel like there's almost too much fun. All the same, it is a cozy, celebratory time that is especially meaningful for those of us who are seeking to honor the birth of our Savior.

  So, I thought that it would be really cool to use a brick wall as a backdrop...blame Pinterest and the other fashion blogs I follow if you must. ;) On this particular day I tried a new look by tucking a graphic tee into a black skirt, then belting it; I thought the rope belt would tie in (pardon the pun) well with my "Believe it or Knot" tee. A navy cardigan maintained the cool color palette and added extra warmth, as did my bright teal tights. To be ready for the elements, I shod myself in black boots. To top it all off, I added a cozy double-breasted jacket that has been a staple in my life since the temperature has dropped!

Have you attended any Christmas parties this year? Do you plan to?
Do you have a favorite graphic tee?

Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
