Pinsperation || Winter Whimsy

   Hello there, everyone! Life is full, is it not? At any given time of year, just living can take up a lot of time and energy. Add Christmas into the mix and things get even more complicated. Blog post material isn't always easy to come by anyway when one's outfit photographer is not readily available and other plans fall through for the time being. Never fear, the blog will not lie completely dormant. Enter the wonderful world of Pinterest...

   Dear readers, today I have some ideas to share with you from other fashionistas who have blazed the way for us! Having style in the winter isn't always easy (I'm guessing it's far harder for those of you who live in snowy climates :( ), but with a little creativity and the occasional browse on Pinterest, it can be quite fun. The outfits I've found* have key elements, like maxi skirts, that can be worn and restyled during different parts of the year. Enjoy!

We can wear maxi skirts/dresses paired with boots or booties. This particular lady does a great job pulling off a floral print and leather jacket with boots.

For a delightfully feminine look, pair a favorite sweater with a flowing skirt. Tulle can be especially festive! Add tights to keep out the cold.

The jacket, the stripes, the red purse - I like it all!

A darling hat can kick up the style and warmth factors for a winter look.

Here's a simple and chic look featuring a max skirt and a blazer.

Booties with socks and leggings or tights create a look that is both classy and warm! Shop for a variety of socks and boot cuffs.

  I wish you a merry, joyful, peaceful Christmas! May you have a lovely time celebrating the Savior coming to earth as one of us. And while you're at it, happy styling! :)

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14
