Style School: Bohemian
Well, hi there readers! How is your weekend going so far? Mine has involved being really tired... But I'm glad to have the chance to write this fun post. We're going to take quite a turn from the last two posts in the series and explore the style known as...
Bohemian (aka Boho)

Examples of Boho
Pieces: Tribal Print or Traditional Folkwear Inspired Dress; Tiered Maxi Skirt; Crocheted Vest; Peasant Top; Gold Jewelry; Patterned Scarf; Moccasins; Suede
Boots; Flat Sandals;
My boho look consisted of a piece that I've a had for a while and a couple hand-me-downs from Mom. Making the ideal bohemian base for the ensemble, was my old friend, the tiered brown maxi skirt. Meanwhile, beautiful embroidery and sequins on the short-sleeved cardigan gave the outfit part of its boho flair. A long-sleeved orange tee tied in with embroidery's bright colors. Brown flats completed the outfit.
Outfit Details: Tee ~ Hand-me-down; Cardigan ~ Hand-me-down; Skirt ~ Thrift or Consignment Store; Flats ~ Walmart

Happy Sunday everyone!
But I am poor and sorrowful;
Let Your salvation, O God, set me up on high.
Let Your salvation, O God, set me up on high.
I will praise the name of God with a song,
And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
Psalm 69:29-30
Oh, love this outfit my friend...I continually form new favourites of yours! Orange and brown are so gorgeous together and perfect for wintry weather...I am storing up some ideas for when the cooler weather comes to S. Africa again! Oh, and boho is one of my absolute favourite styles!
ReplyDeleteWith much dear love to you - hope you're feeling more refreshed today!
Thanks so much! You're very sweet. Ooh, yes, good idea.
DeleteIt's not quite tomorrow yet, but hoping I shall sleep well tonight! :)
Yay! I've been looking forward to this post! I usually dress with a very classic style during the winter but very Boho during the summer. It's so comfortable!
ReplyDeleteLove the color of your shirt! It makes me think of Sherbet--such a happy color. :)
It is comfortable! :) I'm glad you enjoyed this post.
DeleteThank you! Orange isn't a color that I wear often, but it is a fun one!
Dear Paige, you really look nice in these colors. Pulling the orange out of the embroidery with your long sleeve tee and brown flowing skirt go so well together.Enjoy the rest of the weekend;) Blessings, Stephanie
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Stephanie! :) Thank you and the same to you!
DeleteMy weekend has been great! How about yours? :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love your outfit!! At first I loved the skirt then I loved everything! ;) hehe!
Good! Mine has been restful. :)
DeleteThanks bunches...hee-hee! :)
Boho is one of my favorites! :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun! :)
DeleteI have to admit, I am a fan of Boho! Love the flowers in the hair and ethnic pieces, combined with my old fav, moccasins! I think Boho can be so beautiful! You look awesome!
ReplyDeleteYay! Yes it can be very beautiful! Thanks. :)
DeleteYou look very nice in Boho! It seems the most relaxed style to me. While I do like it on others, I don't feel comfortable in it unless I'm actually relaxing around the house.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! :) Yeah, it's not for everyone!
