Outfit || Rainy Day Gray

  Hello there readers! I seem to have taken a brief blogging hiatus without telling you, but you see, I hadn't given myself any advance notice either. ;) Sometimes life gets busy, and bloggers are uninspired (or just lazy). What matters is that I am back this evening, and even have new clothes to tell you about! I hope that in the time since we last "met", you have had many good days and plenty of accomplishments.  :)

   Last weekend Mom and I had an impromptu shopping trip at a favorite consignment store that we don't get to often. I had been needing a new maxi skirt, and found this lovely charcoal gray jersey knit. When putting together an outfit with it today, I decided on this darling gray cardi that Mom and I share. To add a bit of color, I layered with a pink tee. My beloved ankle boots kept me from stepping on my skirt (heh-heh) and added style. "Topping" it all off was a half-up hairdo complete with humidity curls!

Outfit Details: Cardigan ~ Consignment Store; Tee ~ Gift; Skirt ~ Consignment Store;
Ankle Boots ~ Target

  As you might have guessed from the photos, today was another rainy day! Yesterday, however, we had the pleasure of seeing the sunshine. Though the rains haven't ceased, the blue sky has shown its face from time to time this month. Meanwhile, the grass is a healthy green and flowers are blooming. Yes, it must be spring!

 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice!
Have mercy also upon me, and answer me
When You said, “Seek My face,”
My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”
Psalm 27:7-8
