Polished Pink

Hello and how do you do this last Tuesday of January? Typical winter trials are certainly upon us here in the Western Hemisphere. I hope that you are avoiding all the sickness that my own area is currently weathering. Speaking of weather, I pray that any American east-coasters reading this stay safe and warm though the storm! On to happier things such as...what else? Fashion! ;)

This is a polished outfit that would be appropriate for an occasion calling for a somewhat dressy attire. My color palette for this look consists of pink, gray, and black. A lace pink top makes a feminine yet demure statement with an A-line gray skirt. Underneath the blouse is a gray tank, which helps the pattern of the lace to stand out. Shiny black heels match the wide black belt that cinches in the blouse. Now I'm all ready for dinner at a fancy restaurant, a holiday at church, or even a wedding!

Outfit Details:
Blouse ~ Consignment store; Tank ~ Gift; Skirt ~ Thrift or Consignment store; Shoes ~ Target;
Belt ~ Thrifted

Where would you wear today's outfit?
Are you staying safe from winter illness and storms?
How is the weather where you live?

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:1-2

  1. Very pretty outfit Paige! The skirt is definitely very classy.

We've had gorgeous weather here lately--it has gotten above freezing the past few days. The verse you shared at the end is one of my favorites.

    1. Thank you! :D
Oh! I'm glad it's gotten above freezing. Haha! It's stifling hot here compared to there.

  2. I love this outfit! :) Pink is definitely a beautiful color on you!

  3. Really cute outfit!! I think a pair of light pink or white shear tights would go well with that.

  4. Such an adorable outfit, Paige! So feminine and classy - I love it! Thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog - always lovely to hear from other dear bloggers!
Here is South Africa we are enjoying a warm summer with some rain and cool weather in between which is bliss! I don't do very well in heat:)
Hugs to you and have a beautiful day! Love, Kelly-Anne

    1. Thank you Kelly-Anne! :) And you're so welcome.
That sounds just lovely! :D I don't do well in heat either, so I'm glad to live in a temperate climate.
You have a beautiful day too!

  5. Another pretty outfit! I love any excuse to get dressed up! I live in the Mid-Atlantic area and we narrowly escaped the predicted two feet and only got about 6 inches of powdery snow. I have family in the Northeast and they got about 2 feet of snow and another foot over the weekend and are expecting about another 18 inches in a couple of days!

    1. Thank you! :) Yes, me too!
Wow, your family is getting a lot of snow! O.o I hope that you continue to avoid getting too much in your home.
