Sailor Dress

Hello all! I have a fun new consignment store find to share with you today. It seemed to be a hit with the ladies in the office today, and I know it is with me. :)

When I was out shopping with Mom a couple of weekends ago, we visited a consignment store where I often find cute things. When I saw this dress, it definitely grabbed my attention. Of course, I had to try it on! At first, I  put it back on the rack because it was too big - obviously, it didn't stay there!

This frock has a 1930's look to it that is quite sweet; at the same time, its texture, ruffle and tie-neck have a slightly boho feel. Of course, it has a distinct nautical flair! Today I styled it simply, and threw  on a cardigan a couple times before taking it off due to warmth!

Isn't it strange that April is two thirds over? I've been at my job for four weeks now, and am still learning, but slowly getting a better handle on things. Last week, my family and I "lived through" a three-hour power outage due to a storm. A few days later, we enjoyed nature walks during the sunny weekend! Spring is almost an analogy of life - it's full of changes and storms followed by sunshine!

What has been new or different in your springtime?

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does
 from beginning to end.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
