Outfit & Photography || River Day & Pink

Hello all! Instead of perfectly posed outfit portraits to share today, I have a couple of snapshots from an outdoor day with my family this weekend. We went out into the sunshine to celebrate Dad's birthday and enjoyed a couple of afternoon hours by the river. Of course, I brought my camera, and had great fun capturing cloud shots with the polarizing filter on my lens!

To stay cool, I wore a top that has not yet been on the blog, a pink high-low tee with a lace pocket. Because of its cut, it looks best paired with pants or tucked into a skirt. This weekend, it was paired with my fun plaid Bermuda shorts. I donned yellow sandals (not seen) and was ready for a day in warmer climes!

P.S. ^ That's what my hair looks 80 + degrees. Anyone else have long, temperature-picky hair?

Have you done any outdoor adventuring lately?
Do you enjoy taking cloud photos?

Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

  1. Lovely outfit and great photos.

It is cold and wet here in the UK at the moment so no 80+ degree problems for me!

    1. Thank you Rebecca! :)
Oh, wow! It's not nearly as warm where I live, but we only have to go inland an hour for it to be HOT.

  2. I love these. Your photos are beautiful and so are you! Are those Bermudas? Or Capris? Can you believe it's summer already?!?

    1. Thanks so much Dani! :D Yes, they are Bermudas - I just cut off the photo at the end of the shorts (they were a little shorter than I was comfortable with in the sitting pics).
Right?! And now it's July. O.o

  3. Great pictures Paige!
Also, I'm straining my eyes trying to figure out what the book you are reading in the first picture is. I can see that it's a Charles Dickens but the title I can't quite make out. The Pickwick Papers perhaps? :) Sorry, Bookish-Nerd here!

Hee-hee, you guessed correctly! I've actually set it aside for lighter reading...maybe I'll pick it back up, we'll see. ;P

  4. Hi, we have been out doors too! We visited our favorite Springs in Missouri. The weather here has been in the upper 90's so we were able to wade in Jacks Fork in Eminence Mo. Very relaxing. You look very pretty in the sun. Cute outfit;)
