Casual Wednesday

Greetings readers! We are now returning to our regularly scheduled program. ;) Last week I only wrote one post, so I decided that instead of trying to make up by doing three this week I'd go ahead and just do two as usual. Life happens, as I'm sure you all well know!

Last week, Mom and I had an afternoon completely free to do whatever we wished with it. Don't you just love days like that? We ended up doing a photo shoot at our local boardwalk. Mom took outfit photos for the blog, while I captured some shots of strutting seagulls and whatever else caught my fancy. It was fun to explore the beauties of my hometown, all while wearing a casual but cute outfit that picked up on the natural colors of the bay. My only regret was not bringing a jacket - the scarf was cute, but not nearly thick enough to keep off the chill! :)

Outfit details:
Shirt ~ Thrifted; Skirt ~ Mom made; Tights ~ Target?; Boots ~ Ross; Scarf ~ Gift

What do you like to do when you have a day free of obligations?
Has a wild or feral animal ever let you take a close-up picture of it?

Then they cry out to the Lord in their trouble,

And He brings them out of their distresses

He calms the storm,

So that its waves are still.

Psalm 107:28-29

  1. Lovely close-up of the sea gull and nice outfit Paige! Wild animals don't let me get too close, but my zoom lenses help a lot!

  5. Yes, that does sound nice! Unfortunately, those days are few and far between for me. Although this weekend my sister and I did get to hang out and shop at a couple thrift stores- that was fun!
    Blessings,
