Resurrection Day Outfit

Hello folks! We've completed the first week of April...crazy huh? Though it's a sunny evening as I type this, we've been having April showers over here for the past few days. The good thing about the stormy weather is that it is a relief in the drought. The bad thing is that allergies become worse...blech. ;)

This is the outfit I wore last Sunday. It it is made of classic and tailored pieces, with the exception of a more boho styled skirt. Beneath a short-sleeved ivory and brown jacket I layered a pink button-up blouse. These were worn with a flowing ivory skirt with a pretty handkerchief hemline. Finishing the look were my cherished high-heeled oxfords. The result of the combination was a feminine and eclectic look appropriate for the spring-time holiday.

Do you have allergies this spring?
Did you wear anything special on Sunday?

But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die,
even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
I Corinthians 15:20-22

    1. Oooh, and btw, guess what?! I've nominated you (again) for the Liebster award over at my blog. It just wouldn't be right to have a Liebster Award without nominating you...

But I know you've answered sooo many! So don't worry about answering the questions unless you'd really like to :)

Yes, they aren't too bad compared to others' though. So I can be grateful for that. :)

  3. Cute outfit! :) While on debutation to come here, Mommy made lots of matching dresses for us girls. So I wore mommy's dress in one set she made, since the dress that I did wear years ago doesn't fit me! ;) it is pink floral, and I put a pink sweater over it and wore white flats. I curled my hair and wore a pink headband.

    Happy Easter!
