Out of the Blue

Happy Saturday girls! It's a good day for fashion, isn't it? Oh right...that's most days. ;) Last Wednesday was a great day for aqua-colored fashion, specifically. Of course, in my book, most days are a a good aqua day too!

I wore this summery ensemble on a warm summer's day of visiting with friends. After a couple of unexpected visits at home with some dear gals, I enjoyed iced coffee and downtown shops with another sweet lady. All the while, I was dressed in my pretty vintage-style white dress and aqua button-up top. Black flats and a silver chain with simple pendants were also part of the cool-colored look. Though my hair changed a couple of times throughout the day, it was finally settled into a simple straightened 'do.

Well, that's enough typing for now! This afternoon included some fun in the sun at the beach for a birthday. Now I'm tired and have the feeling that some UV rays got the better of my skin (and corneas...*hem*). Talk to you next week, dear readers!

Do you ever change your hairstyle a couple of times throughout the day?
What color do you seem to wear a deal of?

Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 103:405

  2. Hi Paige! This is a lovely post. Aqua suits you beautifully.

I have a question: you said you wore a chain with a pendant. Yet your shirt is a collared one. What are your tips on wearing necklaces with collared shirts? I'm guessing your necklace is visible in person though it isn't really in the photos. :) Thanks!

    1. Thanks Bonnie! :D
Ah yes, I suppose it doesn't show up well in the pictures. :\ If you look in the middle photo you can see a wee shiny bit. Well, I don't have any specific standards I follow when wearing necklaces with collared shirts. I have worn them over the collar before, but this time I wore it under - if the necklace is shorter, then it won't become a choker. The best idea would be to make sure the pendant doesn't hit right where a button does so there's no competition. :)

  4. That blue is a wonderful color on you Paige! Glad to hear you had a good day!
I tend to wear a lot of blue/turquoise/teal. My eyes are blue so any colors with lots of blue undertones look good on me. Also coral is something I have been adding to my closet. It draws out the pink in my skin.
