Earning My Stripes

Hello all! Can you believe we're already almost halfway through January? My, how the time does fly. I guess that's what keeping busy does to a person's perception! In any case, it's time for another outfit post and I have another one featuring my favorite pattern - stripes!

This particular outfit was one I wore for working at the office and relaxing at home yesterday. It consists of neutral colors, with a color-pop of light pink. Because of its classic and understated pieces, this ensemble reminds me of the Parisian fashion that I have been known to enjoy emulating. Everything comes together  in a pleasing color combination and simple elegance.

Now for an update on a couple of things I mentioned in my last post. I am currently working 10 hours a week at an insurance agency. So far I've answered phones, made sales-type calls, greeted customers, done a little housekeeping and organizing around the office, and run errands. Soon I should be able to do just a bit more to help out the customers.

The wedding I was in last weekend went really well. There was a medical emergency the day before, and while I won't go into detail here, rest assured that the ceremony went off without a hitch. It was a day that brought much glory to God, as well as joy to the couple.

That should keep you fairly well up to date on what's going on in my life! Apart from the new job and the wedding, the life of Paige continues in business-as-usual mode. Growing up is quite the interesting experience, and I'm glad to have some lovely blog friends to relate to. :)

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

    1. Thanks Paige! :) I don't want to go into too much detail to maintain my friends' privacy, but there was a potentially life-threatening situation that resulted in an injury that was far less than it could have been, and didn't end up changing any plans. The Lord wanted the wedding to go on! :)

  2. Dear Paige, I really like how you added the pink cardigan. It brightens up your pretty outfit. I am so glad all went well for the couple and that God blessed their marriage. Sounds like you are doing very well at the insurance agency. I am proud of you. You seem to be learning new things quickly and professionally. Most important is that you sound like you enjoy it! Blessings, Stephanie M.

  3. I like stripes too but I never seem to wear them! They are more my mother's pattern I suppose.
Glad to hear both that the wedding went well and that your work is going well! Have a great rest of the week Paige!
