On Being a Bridesmaid...Round Two!

Doesn't Mom match well? She was in the wedding too - she and Dad read a statement of faith. During most of the reception, I wore a cardigan.
Hello all! :) How has your week been so far? Mine has had its ups and downs, but I'm glad to be sharing with you on the blogosphere today! As you might recall, I was in a dear friend's wedding earlier this year. Because we didn't end up bringing our own camera, I waited for the official photos before writing a post. Now I'm ready to show you what I wore for my second time as a bridesmaid.

This pretty mint dress is a custom fit by Daisy Formals. I like how its design beautifully combines a lace bodice, detailed waistband, and flowing skirt. What's more is that the bodice design is similar to the bride's gown! As far as the custom fit goes, it didn't end up being quite as good as my eShakti dress, but the lacing in the back helped.

Here's a close-up of my shoes from my Retro post.
To accessorize, we three bridesmaids wore pearl strand necklaces. The bride was wearing her grandmother's pearl necklace and earrings, so we echoed her look. Meanwhile, our shoe choice was nude heels; Each of us bought a different pair (mine are from Kohl's).

The bouquets were beautiful! Can you really go wrong with fresh red roses and baby's breath for a wedding? As you can see, they looked lovely against the fresh mint of the bridesmaid dresses.

Being behind the scenes with the bride and standing as one of her attendants was a great privilege. It was a lovely day. I hope you have had/will have the opportunity of a similar experience!

Blessed be my Rock!
Let the God of my salvation be exalted.

There is not a more perfect example of what a young lady should look like than the way you look in the second picture. Paige, you have the look of poise, confidence and just shear beauty radiating from every inch of that image. Paige, you were a very beautiful bridesmaid. Thanks for sharing with us.
Blessings for a very special young lady,

    1. Yes, it was a wonderful experience! Thank you very much. :) Yes, I am so blessed to have a good relationship with my mom. That isn't to say that we never have our bad moments, but that's normal for families I think. ;)
