Springsperation

Hi readers, remember back in December when I did a Pinterest inspiration post for winter? I asked if you would interested in seeing posts like this each season, and got a positive response. Well, this morning I was left with no outfit photos and not much spring inspiration; After reading a blog post, doing a little brainstorming and online searching I am ready to present you with my ideas for spring fashion! They aren't all from Pinterest, but they should be pinnable. ;)

Floral

This one is pretty obvious! Spring = flowers. Happily, this part of the 21st century is very kind to feminine prints, so it should be easy to find and style blossoming pieces!

Bright & Pastel Cardigans

Source
I have been getting a fair amount of use out of my pastel cardigan this month! Cardis are a great choice for in-between weather when you don't want to wear a chunky sweater, but aren't warm enough for a stand-alone t-shirt. Having them in a wide variety of colors means having one for every outfit.

Converse With a Skirt/Dress

Source
Recently, I managed to pull off a decent sneakers and skirt look. It's a look I would like to get better at! The key is to not look too...youthful. ;) Converse are a great casual shoe, but also give every outfit an instant style factor.

Dressy White Sandals

I have a pretty pair of white heeled sandals that I am hoping to get some use out of soon! They are a great pair for the spring and summer. The above flat sandals are just as cute, and good for those who don't like heels!

What are you looking forward to wearing this season?

For as the earth brings forth its bud,
As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth,
So the Lord God will cause righteousness and
praise to spring forth before all the nations.
Isaiah 61:11

  1. So funny you mentioned florals, pastel cardi's and converse! In the last week I have worn several floral dresses/skirt with cardi's and on one day, my pink converse! I would like to applaud you for making me feel like I am semi-fashionable for springtime! Hehe. One of my fav spring trends are the tulle skirts coming out, and the floral crowns!

    1. Oh, how neat! :) I'm not sure if all of these are /the/ trends for spring 2016, but I like them. ;)
      Ooh, pretty!

  2. Fun post, Paige! I am looking forward to wearing sandals again. Last year I had a nice white heeled pair, but they were about a half size too small, and I had to get rid of them after my feet started turning blue after I wore them too long once! Not fun--or attractive! Thankfully I have a favorite black pair of heeled sandals that I absolutely love. But unfortunately they are getting a little *too* comfortable, so I may be in the market for a new pair this spring!

I have two maxi skirts that I recently got that I plan to wear a lot this Spring ... they're so nice and comfy! :) I'm sure I'll be getting more new clothes sometime. :)

  4. Hi Paige, I like to wear Taylor Swift Keds, they are feminine and stylish and fun, so many colors to pick and wear with a lot of my clothes and they are very comfortable and complements my style. Like the bible verse, perfect for Spring;) Stephanie

  5. Your post was the inspiration for my easter outfit, Paige! Pastel purple cardigan, purple and green floral dress, and my sage green high tops. The dress was vintage, and pretty formal looking, so using the sweater and sneakers to dress it down for a Sunday brunch worked out nicely!

  6. My wardrobe is practically dominated with floral year-round but especially in the spring and summer seasons (my favorite seasons). I've been keeping an eye out for a pair of sandals akin to those white ones!
