Photography || January Afternoon

  Hi all! It's been a couple of weeks since I've blazed the Sunday Best trail; I have instead been finding a path through lack of sleep, busyness, and sheer forgetfulness. Happily, I remembered to blog this evening and also had some material to share!

   Two blog posts ago, I shared an outfit which was modeled at a local wildlife refuge. My main intention in visiting the site was to enjoy photographing a few scenes from Creation. Thankfully, the skies were clear and it was a good day to be out! Though the outing had to be cut short, I still managed to get in a few decent photos. I like the lighting of these shots, which gives you the ambience of a crisp winter afternoon.

   I hope you enjoyed a this peek into a winter's day in my corner of the world. Next week my goal is to have a new outfit shoot to share! For now, I leave you with this scripture full of truth about Christ, the Creator of nature's beauties.

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
Colossians 1:16-17
