Outfit || Golden Hour Pink

   Good evening, readers! How have you been since we last "met"? I was able to enjoy a long weekend with my parents, taking a mini-vacation that ended yesterday afternoon. Hopefully, you will see some of the many photos I took in the next blog post or two. For now, here's a mid-week outfit for you!

   There's nothing like a golden hour photo shoot, is there? Yes, it can be difficult to see what certain colors look like, but the soft, glowing light makes up for it...I think. ;) This particular outfit reflected the waning sun's early summer feeling.

  The pink top and burgundy pants are a classy and comfortable pair that I wore to the office. My favorite features on these pieces are the top 's lacy sleeves and the rich color of the slacks. An oatmeal cardigan kept me warm, while a gold and pink necklace pulled together the whole look. Brown wedges supported my sensitive feet, while maintaining a classic workplace feeling.

What do you wear when you want to look dressed up but also feel professional?
Do you have any fun travel plans?
I look forward to hearing from you!

Blessed be the name of the Lord
From this time forth and forever.

From the rising of the sun to its setting
The name of the Lord is to be praised.

The Lord is high above all nations;
His glory is above the heavens.

Psalm 113:2-4

  1. Hi, the sun lighting is glorious! I do favor the Lacy sleeves paired up with the dark burgundy slacks. The pink and gold necklace does bring it all together;) I like to wear skirts with Capri leggings they are so comfortable and I add Ked tennis shoes that match close to the color of my skirt. They are comfortable also classy for teaching preschoolers. We plan on an afternoon at Meramec Spring fish hatchery Monday. Hope you have a great weekend and 4th of July. Your friend, Stephanie

  2. Really love the pants! I've actually been keeping my eyes open for a pair that color. There is something so fun but simultaneously classy about colored pants. Beautiful outfit!

    I am experimenting with different coloured trousers as well - I must try dark burgundy as they look great on you
