Schoolgirl Chic / Poll Results

Good day, all! Has your week been off to a good start? Mine began in a busy but fun way of cleaning house and fellowship with friends.

As those of you who visit this blog regularly might notice, I got a hair cut! If there's nothing else to encourage a girl to dress with style, a new hair cut will. ;) On the day my locks were restyled, I put together an outfit that has almost a schoolgirl look to it. I tried something completely new and layered a button-up chambray under a yellow sweater. These were put with a knee-length pleated skirt, tights, and brown shoes. Though most of the colors were warm, the chambray top's icy shade didn't clash. It added a unique twist to an otherwise classic outfit.

Below are the insightful results of what thirteen readers voted for as their favorite posts in this week's poll. I want to thank each of you for participating! If the percentages seem odd, keep in mind that each person was able to choose more than one answer.

76% voted for outfit posts
69% voted for historical fashion
61% voted for hair tutorials
23% voted for Fashion Defined
23% voted for devotionals
23% voted for guest posts

So, what does this poll mean for Sunday Best? To begin with, I have decided to discontinue regular posting in the Fashion Defined series and use it as a more sporadic outlet for any research I do. Though guest posts and devotionals are also not as popular, I think the former is important for relationships with other bloggers and the latter is something that is close to my heart for this blog. Because hair tutorials and historical fashion are more popular, these will be things that I will work on doing more posts on! :)

The sun shall be no more they light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
Isaiah 60:19

  1. The outfit looks great on you! Do keep up the devotionals; I voted for them...as well as for your outfit posts...and to be honest, probably a couple other things. (In other words, I like your blog in general!)

Yes, sometimes it's nice to have that extra incentive to put together an outfit (especially if you're a fashion blogger!)
