eShakti Dress Review!

Happy weekend all! Today, I'm excited to present you with my first-ever clothing review! The women's clothing company eShakti gave me the honor of asking me to review one of their products. Of course, I said yes, and selected the teal Graphic floral vine embellished poplin dress. It arrived four days after the email arrived saying that it had shipped, and here I am now to tell you about it!

Happily, this dress is just as beautiful as it looked online! The rich color, retro shape, and intricate embroidered design write my name all over this dress. It is well-made in a sturdy poplin fabric and, as you see above, has an ideal skirt for twirling in! Side-seam pockets and bra-strap holders are a couple of useful features that recommend eShakti's well-thought-out design.
One of the best features of the dress is that it fits me perfectly! To me, this is what makes eShakti such a special company. Though they do offer sizes from 0-36W, they give customers the option of sending them detailed measurements to make a custom fit garment for them. There is also the fun opportunity to change the neckline, sleeve length, and hem length of a dress - I decided to order mine as it was originally designed.
Because this is an honest review, I would like to share with you a couple of minor concerns. First, the dress is a shade darker and greener than the website photo led me to believe; because I like any shade of blue-green, I'm still pleased with the color. My second concern is that fabric in the underarm area looks slightly worn. Since that area is hidden, it causes me no real alarm.

Overall, my first experience with eShakti has been pleasant and satisfying. Despite a couple of blunders on my part (including an accidental order), the employee that I worked with was polite and helpful. Now I have a beautiful new dress that fits like a glove and makes me feel quite feminine. I recommend eShakti to anyone looking for quality feminine clothing, especially if they are interested in getting a custom fit.

  2. Great review! Wow, the dress /is/ a lot darker than it appeared online O.o but lighting is always tricky. You've made me want to order a dress :) It looks perfect on you! Now if only there was a wedding coming up you could wear it to ;) How long did it take to get to you, from ordering to receiving in the mail?

    1. Thank you! :D Yes...at least it's not gold, right? ;)
Well, that's the tricky thing. ;P I ordered it on the 5th or 6th, but after rereading my last email later on I realized that I needed to reconfirm my order. So, I confirmed it on the 18th and received it on the 25th. :)
