Time Flies

  Hi everyone! It seems like my Tuesday posts have been turning into Wednesday posts lately. This time, I have good excuses, those being a busted pipe under our house and a dead camera battery (both remedied). Sometimes things happen in life that we can't help, and we must learn to be flexible...which might mean delayed blog posts!

   Yesterday's outfit is another product of the "I think I'll change this around a few times until I'm happy" trend. ;) I knew that I wanted to wear my darling new time-keeping necklace, as I haven't shown it on the blog yet. I also was set on using this yellow skirt early on in the outfit-planning game. After a wee bit of changing I finally arrived at the finished ensemble, which included my green sweater, a gray tank, gray knee socks, and my typical brown boots. Overall, the outfit had a slightly vintage, eclectic look that I would be happy to reproduce in the future.
  My hair is done in the second bridesmaid test look, complete with the flower clip that I will be wearing. This is the hairdo I've decided to wear for the wedding. If you've never tried flat iron curls, I would recommend it. Perhaps I'll do a tutorial someday. :)

Outfit Details: Sweater ~ Gift; Tank Top ~ Gift; Skirt ~ Thrifted; Leggings ~ Socks ~ ? ; Boots ~Ross; Necklace ~ Gift

   Just to let you know, I don't plan on posting this Saturday. I know, you're sobbing uncontrollably at this point............ just kidding! ;) Anyway, your prayers for peace and strength during the rest of this week as I babysit, and prepare for and take part in the wedding would be appreciated. I hope that you all have a lovely second half of your week :)

Have you ever tried flat-iron curls?
Would you be interested in having a tutorial for them?
Do you hope to have a busy weekend or a mellow weekend up ahead?

The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace.
Psalm 29:11

  1. I know how the camera thing goes! My tripod is literally falling apart so... I've had a bit of trouble. :D Anyway, your hair is absolutely beautiful. The curls compliment the shape of your face.

  3. Your curls are gorgeous, Paige! I would be interested in learning how you do them, though I don't know if I'd actually be brave enough to try them or not--I'm all in to trying new things except when it comes to fashion! (poor me--at least I can watch you fashion bloggers...)

    Love the close-up shot! Enjoy your babysitting! Prayers and good wishes for everything to go well with the wedding!

  5. Your eyes look so pretty! Are you just wearing more makeup than usual, or is it the effect of the no-frames-underneath new glasses? :) Cute look! :)

    1. Thanks muchly! :D On this day, yes, I was wearing more makeup. I lined 3/4ish of my lower lid, which I rarely do.
