Mauve-lous!

Greetings my friends! Another weekend is upon us. It's time for rest, worship, and fun. It has been quite a week for me and I've enjoyed some relaxation today! :)

This Saturday I wore a pretty top that I selected at a thrift store last week. I like how even though it's a peasant style top, it has fairly fitted sleeves - my slender and petite arms don't usually work well with the fuller type. Its beautiful mauve color is also quite to my liking.

I paired this top with my quintessential blue skirt and added my purple sneakers. A side ponytail with a mini braid was today's hairstyle of choice.

  2. Oh, I love that verse from John 16...so powerful and comforting!
And, my friend, I love how simple and casual this sweet outfit is...and of course the colour is stunning!
The sneakers and ponytail really complete this relaxed look...beautiful!
I love peasant tops too, and have made a few for myself, but unfortunately they do not flatter my build, and I have to be careful what fabric I use...I prefer something more fitted - it works so much better for me! But you look simply gorgeous in peasant tops, Paige! Smiles...
Wishing you a beautifully blessed and peaceful Lord's Day!
    Hugs and love to you,
    Kelly-Anne

  9. Nice outfit, Paige! I don't wear peasant-style tops. I tried to, but they just didn't suite me very well. I like how yours matches so nicely with your sneakers!

I spent my Saturday playing chess at the Iowa Open.
