Boho October

   Good ev'ning to you folks!  It's the third and final day (though only the second day for me) of Bramblewood Fashion's Fall Trends blog party. For the event, I styled a somewhat bohemian look incorporating a color I normally don't associate with fall - that color is purple!

   Starting with a long floral skirt, I built myself an outfit never worn before. I tucked a chambray shirt into the skirt and cinched it in with a flower-bedecked brown belt. A statement necklace added more autumnal color. Tall brown boots matched the belt, while a crocheted beret tied in with the skirt. Last, but not least, I donned my faux leather purse to run errands. All the pieces came together to make an outfit that is unique and cute while having a boho-yet-classy feel.

 Have you transitioned into fall clothing yet?
Have you seen any of the other blog party outfits?

It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.

  1. Aw Paige, what a cute outfit! The flowered belt with the skirt is super chic! And you have decided me, I need to get a chambray button-down. :)
    I have been getting a chance to wear some of my fall clothing and loving it! I usually don't so well with the fall colors, I'm more of a "winter", but this year I have discovered that I can actually look nice in deep jewel tones. There is one particularly deep shade of redish/pink I call "wine" that has become my absolute favorite!
