Plaid Coziness

   It's Decembrrrrr! You know it's winter when you fall asleep under a pile of blankets that collectively makes up twice your body weight (you guess whether or not I'm kidding). Of course, some of you are reading this and thinking that if there isn't three feet of snow outside, it's not really cold. I'm just a sensitive North Coaster. ;)

   Yesterday I wore my new plaid sweater/jacket for the second time, and was determined to feature it here! Of course, I didn't remember about photos until it was dark outside, and we hadn't had time for a shoot anyway. Thus, you get to enjoy indoor photos! ;)

   I styled my jacket with a denim skirt, blue leggings, and black boots, which made for a casual but cute look. My accessory of the day was the pretty floral scarf that I picked up on our end-of-summer vacation. Its colors looked well my mint tank top, but there was one more thing in store to match the scarf. While I had been away that afternoon some friends unexpectedly dropped by a gift for me - it was a delicate pink hairband with a bit of sparkle! Just that morning I had been wishing for a sparkly hairband, so it was really special to receive it.
