Infinity Dreams Award II

Good day, readers!  I am back in the blog tag world (for now ;). Many thanks to Lydia from C'est La Vie for tagging me with the Infinity Dreams Award, and for asking interesting questions!

     Here are the rules:

Use the Infinity Dreams Award picture

Thank the blogger who tagged you

Tell us 11 facts about yourself

    Answer the 11 questions

    Tag 11 bloggers

11 Facts:
1. On Monday, I lived an 80 degree February day - and yes, that's unusual even for here.
2. The first word I saw in a recent "what is the first word you see" picture was "No".
3. I have lived in the same town my entire life.
4. I gave my dog the middle name "Otter".
5. Carbs are what keep me alive.
6. I didn't text until I was 20.
7. Being a home schooler, it took me a while to understand "When the roll is called up yonder".
8. I like Celestial Seasoning's Roastaroma tea.
9. I have a severe lack of athletic skill and motivation.
10. I like salty chocolate.
11. When I was little, Dad and I used to play a game we called Lion and Impala - he was the impala.

1. What is your biggest hobby? Right now, that would be playing the hammered dulcimer.
2.Who is your biggest inspiration? God inspires me the most through his word, but I really need to take Christ as my example more seriously.
3. What is your favorite piece of music (can be either classical or modern)? If you mean a complex, instrumental writing then it's Clair De Lune by Debussy (I don't know a lot of music, so it makes me feel so smart to say that ;P). If you mean any song at all, right now it's Be Thou my Vision.
4. What is something you wish you knew more about? Politics.
5. What is your favorite quote? I don't have one actually...
6. What is something you look forward to doing each day?  I look forward to checking social media each day, but it usually ends up being boring.
7. What is your favorite way to get exercise? A good walk is quite enjoyable!
8. Describe yourself in three sentences: I am a slender, petite young woman with large eyes and youthful appearance. Around most people, I am quiet, but I can be silly and sarcastic with my family and close friends. I am generally unenthusiastic, take quiet delight in things and people I enjoy, and am serious about my faith.
9. What has been your biggest life achievement so far? That would be making it through a week of camp counseling about a year and a half ago. It was one of the hardest and most rewarding times of my life.
10. What is something you learned recently? God always has a reason for things, even if we don't see it right away.
11. Where is the most interesting place you have ever gone? The Grand Canyon! It is beautiful and enormous.

 My questions for you are:
1. If you could be a spectator at any event in any part of the world, what would it be?
2. If you could learn any skill, however random, what would it be?
3. Are you an early bird or night owl?
4. What is your favorite book of the Bible?
5. If you were to invite me over for dinner, what would we eat?
6. What book and/or movie character do you most identify with?
7. What are your feelings about puns?
8. What are your feelings on nail polish?
9. What is the #1 thing you want your younger sisters in Christ to know?
10.  Do you knit, crochet, sew, embroider, weave....?
11. Does your family eat unusual foods that most don't?

Enjoy, if you so choose to post the tag! If you don't have a blog, feel free to answer the questions in the comments. "See" you this weekend!

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

  3. Wow, 80 degrees in February?! You have it good! Neat that you've lived in the same town all your life. Our dog has a middle name too--she's Ginger-Bell.

When we were little we played a game that must have been a little similar to your Lion and Impala game. Our version was called Dog and Rabbit.

Be Thou My Vision is a beautiful song. And I think you did a good job describing yourself. Awesome that you got to see the Grand Canyon.

Thanks for nominating me! You asked some interesting questions, so I think I might just do them...I have a particular post in mind that I'd like to use them for...so it may be a month or so. If I don't get it posted, I'll come back and answer here. Thanks again!

  6. Aww! Thank you for so sweetly nominating me, my friend! I sadly don't get to award posts right now, but I do appreciate the thought! I loved your answers...what fun things you shared! I had to smile at you saying you didn't text till you were 20 - I do it so seldom and have so few people to text, the phone is probably my least needed or wanted thing in my life! Except..I can read lovely blogs, like yours, on my mom's! Hee!
Happy Valentine's...hugs to you, dear Paige and thank you again!

    1. You are so welcome, and I totally understand! :)
Haha! :) They have to be good for something, right? ;) I have a flip phone and to text I have to press the buttons multiple times to get certain letters, so it isn't even that fun to use. :)
Happy V-Day to you too! Have a good week. :D
