Daisies for Spring

Good Monday to you readers! I trust that you are back to your hectic schedules. I have quite a list of things to accomplish today, myself. Let's take a break out of our busy day and talk about clothes for a just bit, because there's a cute new top I want to show you. :)

A couple of weeks ago when Mom and I were in another town, we dropped by a thrift store that we hadn't been in before. While browsing the shirts, this short sleeved knit hoodie caught my eye. That was a bit unusual, because I don't usually go for shades of red (though this is sort of orange). Something about its bright color and haphazard daisies looked so cute to me.
Needless to say, I bought it, and then wore it a few days later with my denim skirt and brown boots. The day I wore it ended up being a good day to try a hairstyle that I had been wanting to do for a while. With my cheery top and milkmaid braids I felt like a Swedish girl exulting in the coming of spring! See, there was even a rose that had opened to enjoy the sunny day with me.

So, are you enjoying the spring? Have you tried any new colors of clothing out lately?

  1. Lovely hairstyle! Your hoodie is definitely bright and cheery! I can't wear much red myself either, but I'm just discovering how much I like purple :)

  5. I love your hair!! Very cute outfit and I really wish I had your skirt! I had a shirt/jacket just like that but it is pink with strawberries all over! I was pretty sad when it didn't fit me anymore!

  6. I have rediscovered yellow recently. I didn't think it worked on me because of my fair complexion and blond hair, but I actually like it! Orange is great too :)

I know Sarah already nominated you for a Liebster, but I nominated you again. See here: http://irelandrhea.blogspot.com/2014/04/liebster-award.html
