Sunday Best - Resurrection Celebration!

Hi all! I hope that you had a beautiful Resurrection celebration yesterday, whether it was busy or relaxed, at home or abroad. I had a full and enjoyable day spent at church and lunching with dear friends. The holiday is always meaningful when spent in fellowship with like-minded people. :)

Yesterday dawned sunny and bright, matching the cheerful spring colors I had chosen for my outfit. On this special occasion I wore a printed green blouse and an embroidered butter yellow skirt. Though sunny, it was cool enough for me to throw on my cream cardigan. My shoes were wedge heels which later were exchanged for flats (they ended up being much better for a game of croquet on the lawn!) In addition to embellishing my outfit with a gold cross necklace, I placed a pretty new leather and fabric bloom in my hair. The flower is another lovely hand crafted accessory made by my mother.

Just to let you know, I am planning on getting back to putting up more topic oriented posts in the latter part of the week, rather than just outfits. There should be a historical fashion how-to in the works in the next few days. When life gets hectic, it's a bit harder to focus on planning for more complex posts and photo shoots. However, I sincerely hope to right this! Until next time, stay stylish...and remember to say "Thank You" to Jesus! :)

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
~ John 10:10
